Léonce LeBlanc, 34, of Montreal and formerly of Memramcook East, died early Wednesday morning in an apartment fire in Montreal.

He was born at Aboujagane, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Medias LeBlanc, now residing in Memramcook East.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Jennie Shaw of Charlottetown. Five sinters, Mrs. Emile Power, Toronto, Mrs. Mans Campbell, Chipman, Mrs. Léon Dupuis, Memramcook East, Mrs. Raymond LeBlanc, Waltham, Mass., and Mrs. George Bourgeois, College Bridge, and four brothers, Paul, Memramcook East, Alvérie, Moncton, Eric of Dieppe, and Mélas of Toronto, also survive.

The body is resting at Dupuis Funeral Home in Memramcook and the funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. from Our Lady Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. Interment in the parish cemetery.
